Construction Cost Estimates

We believe that a properly prepared construction cost estimate is an essential tool in the construction process which can ensure that the project is delivered on time and within budget. Quanto are experts in the preparation of any type of construction cost estimate whether it be a Feasibility Estimate, a Trade Based Elemental Estimate, a Cost to Complete report or a Bill of Quantities.

Financier Check Estimate & Progress Payment reports

Financial institutions require check estimates from a quantity surveyor to ensure developers/builders are providing realistic and accurate costs for projects. This ensures the loan facility is adequate to fund the entire construction of the development. Progress Payment and Variation reports are usually required monthly to ensure the project is on time and budget.

Section 94A Cost Estimates

It is becoming increasingly common for councils to require a square metre cost estimate prepared by a quantity surveyor for any development over $500,000 prior to approving a development application. We are able to prepare these estimates

Sinking Fund Forecasts

Owner’s Corporations of Strata Plans are required to have in place a 10 year Sinking Fund Forecast to ensure that sufficient funds are set aside each year to cover costs of items that deteriorate over time.

To ensure your building is fully covered in the event of an insurance claim, Quanto are able to provide a report indicating the costs involved to rebuild the property including demolition, design and authority costs.
